Oven stolen after it fell from car boot in Letterkenny

Gardaí are investigating the theft of an oven after it fell from a car boot in Letterkenny.

A man was transporting an oven in his car on Monday, December 9 at midday at Carnamuggagh Upper.

The man didn’t realise that the boot door was open, and the oven fell out onto the road. A short time later a man came along in a small white van and he lifted the oven into the van before driving away. The man in question was described as being in his 50s and well dressed. He then left in the direction of Letterkenny town.

Gardaí are appealing to road users who may have been in the area of Carnamuggagh Upper on that date with a dash cam between the hours of Midday and 1pm to make contact with them on (074)9167100.
