Finn Harps 0-1 Sligo Rovers
KARL O’Sullivan came back to haunt his old club as Sligo Rovers defeated Finn Harps in Ballybofey this evening.
Harps went into the game without a host of regulars due to suspensions and injuries and their cause wasn’t helped as Ryan Connolly picked up an early knock and had to be replaced.
Sligo soon took control and Mark Anthony McGinley made three brilliant saves to deny them before Karl O’Sullivan – who played for Harps for two seasons – scored for the visitors in the 26th minute.

Harps battled well in the second half and Ethan Boyle and Luke Rudden both saw good chances blocked.
McGinley made another good stop from Jordan Hamilton before Mark Timlin had a glorious opportunity in the 85th minute but Adam McDonnell made a crucial block.
Harps kept going to the death and were roared on by their home supporters at the Town end but they just couldn’t find the equaliser they craved.
