Oisin Orr has been named as the Overall Donegal Sports Star of 2023 at the Mount Errigal Hotel.
It is Orr’s second time winning the prestigous overall award.
The Rathmullan jockey had a superb 2023 and his most noteable win came in the Bahrain International Trophy when he was aboard Spirit Dancer, a horse co-owned by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Orr beat off competition from Danny Duffy (Boxing), Erin McLaughlin (Soccer), Jamie Meehan (Cycling), Richard Kerr (Motor Cycling) and Sadhbh McGrath (Rugby) who were all short-listed for the top prize.
