AIDAN O’Rourke will not be involved with the Donegal senior footballers in 2024.
O’Rourke was initially working with the side as Head Coach but took over as Interim manager when Paddy Carr resigned in March.
Donegal lost their Ulster Championship opener, but did have good wins over Clare and Monaghan in the All-Ireland group stages.
However, their season came to an end when they lost to Tyrone on Saturday night.
O’Rourke’s temporary arranagement finished with that defeat, and he is not interested in staying on.
Donegal will be hoping to get a new manager in place quickly, and they won’t want the process to drag on like last year.
