After the fans had departed Croke Park on Sunday, Oisin Gallen, Stephen McMenamin, and Mark Curran came back out to the side of the pitch.

The stewards were on red alert after a fan from the premium level got onto the pitch to get a picture down by the Canal End.

He had his prize  but the Donegal team were left empty-handed with just a few words of solace from RTE’s Marty Morrissey to take from the day.
