AN Garda Síochána and Foroige are hosting an exciting initiative on Saturday in Gaoth Dobhair from 12 to 2pm.
Operation Nexus is a unique approach to promoting road safety amongst the youth.
The key highlight will be the presence of the Garda Nexus Car, a Golf, specially designed and modified vehicle used by An Garda Síochána to educate and engage young people on road safety practices.
A spokesperson for Foroige said: “Gardaí will be on hand to discuss road safety with young people and will also deliver a road safety programme.
“The car will be at the Foroige building, which is next door to the garda station so come along and check out the car. This event reflects a shared commitment to keeping our roads safe and promoting the road safety message for all young people.”
