Given the growing interest in the children’s 1K races that are held as part of the activities on the day of the Donegal Half Marathon, the event organisers have set up a preregistration link to help the smooth running of this year’s races.
The 2023 Donegal Half Marathon takes place in Letterkenny on Sunday, August 27th and has start time of 9.20 am. The children’s races, which will see the participants race over the last k of the 21k race and finishing on the Danny McDaid Track at the Aura Leisure Centre, will get underway at 10 am. The races, which are being sponsored by Century Cinemas in Letterkenny, are open to those under-16.
