Online auction to help Ryan beat brain cancer

AN exciting online art auction fund-raiser consisting of 27 beautiful original artworks kindly donated by local and international artists gets underway tomorrow, Friday.

All proceeds will go to help Ballybofey man Ryan Maguire with his medical and living costs while he is receiving treatment in Bordeaux, France.

Ryan (28) has been living with his diagnosis of brain cancer GBM since July 2018 he has went through two brain surgery’s, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and remains very positive throughout this stressful time.

His mother Veronica, a local artist, has organised this art auction fund-raiser as an innovative way to help her son. It will be held on her art page on Facebook Veronica Maguire artist over the weekend and will be an ideal opportunity to obtain original artwork and donate to a worthy cause. People can also donate without having to bid on a painting – it all helps.

Artist that have contributed are Veronica Maguire (5 paintings), Bernie Anderson (3), Dermot Anderson, Morgan Ferriter, Celine McGlynn, Fergus Smith and Zoe Dubief (2) plus one each from Philomena Cater, Maria Noonan McDermott, Johnny Boyle, Bernice Maguire, Charlotte Brady, Miriam Doran, Sinead McLaughlin, Georgina McGonagle and Neyha Sofat.
