O’NEILL, Grace

O’NEILL – The peaceful death has taken place on Wednesday, 28th December 2022 of Grace O’Neill, (née Conaghan), 3 Convent Road, Letterkenny, F92 TXP5 and formerly from Lower Main Street, Letterkenny and Rathdonnell. Grace is pre-deceased by her infant daughter Josephine, parents William and Margaret, sisters Bridget (Sr. Mary of the Rosary, Nazareth House, Fahan), Catherine Harkin (Drumany, Letterkenny) and brother Packie Conaghan (Rathdonnell).

Deeply missed by her loving husband Patsy; family Isabel and husband Mick Lagan (Rathdonnell), Liam and wife Margaret (Stranorlar), Geraldine and husband Jim Bradley (Ennis, Co. Clare), Keith and wife Sheelagh (Derry), Brenda and husband John Dillon (Oaklands Park, Letterkenny) and Maria and husband Karl Doherty (Derry), seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother Josie (Derryveagh Avenue, Letterkenny); sisters Margaret Blaney (Rosnakill, Fanad) and Eileen Garry (Rathdonnell); brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Removal from The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Thursday, 29th December at 3 pm going to her late residence. Funeral from there on Saturday, 31st December at 10.30 am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11 am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards to Conwal Cemetery.

Family time please from 10 pm until 12 noon with house private on the morning of the funeral. Rosary both nights at 9 pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if desired to the MS Society, c/o any family member.
