O’KELLY, Joe

O’KELLY – The death has taken place of Joe O’Kelly, Dunwiley, Stranorlar, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital. Loving partner to Roisin (McGowan), doting father to Owen, Josh, Sam and Joey, caring brother to Lorraine, Lorna, Mark and Paul.

He will be deeply and sincerely missed by his loving partner, sons, daughter, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Joe’s remains will be reposing at his late home, Dunwiley, Stranorlar from Wednesday, 1st September 5 pm to 8 pm for family and close friends. Please adhere to the current guidelines regarding face coverings and social distancing.

Leaving there on Thursday at 10.30 am to arrive at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery, Stranorlar.

In compliance with current HSE and Government restrictions, the funeral will be private to the family and friends only, with a maximum of fifty people permitted in the church.

Flowers welcome, donations in lieu if so desired in memory of Joe, to ICU, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o Martin McGowan, McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar, Co. Donegal, or any family member.

Anyone wishing to leave a message of sympathy may do so in the condolence below.
