Oisin Cannon delighted with cup final win

IT proved to be a little uncomfortable in the final moments, but Bonagee goalkeeper Oisin Cannon wasn’t bothered as his side got their hands on the Donegal News League Cup.

Bonagee appeared to be cruising for long periods, but goals from Corey McBride and Jimmy Bradley did set up a nervous finale.

The Dry Arch side were wondering why there were more than eight minutes of injury-time in the second half.

However, they didn’t panic as Cockhill threw the kitchen sink at them and Cannon was thrilled with the manner of their victory.

“We’re delighted to get the win. You always know when you’re coming here to play Cockhill that it’s never going to be easy.

“When it went 4-2 we knew they were going to throw everything at us.”
