REPORTS are coming in of a serious accident at Carrigans following what is believed to have been an oil spill.
In a post on its Facebook page, the local Crime Alert service for the area says, “Bad accident just below Garda station in Carrigans. Road partially blocked, single lane traffic only.”
Gardai are on the scene and motorists are being warned to expect delays.
