O’Donnell transfers to Penrith Gaels

ST Eunan’s will be without the services of Conor O’Donnell Senior for the foreseeable future.

O’Donnell – who had a run with the Donegal senior footballers in 2020 – has moved to Australia and has linked up with Penrith Gaels.

Last year’s beaten Junior finalists Moville have also suffered a big blow.

Former Donegal minor, under 21, and senior player Ciaran Diver, who was their captain in 2023, has moved to England and will play with the North London Shamrocks.

There is quite a Donegal gathering at the North London Shamrocks and Ultan Boyle has also transferred there from Naomh Muire, and the Lower Rosses will miss the versatile middle-third player.
