KILMACRENNAN politician John O’Donnell has refused to speak to RTE after he topped the poll in the Milford Electoral Area.
Councillor O’Donnell was at the centre of an Prime Time investigation into alleged corruption.
After being approached by RTE’s Eileen Magnier in the Aura Leisure Centre this afternoon, Mr O’Donnell said he would not be giving the national broadcaster an interview.
‘I want to speak to Conor Ryan,’ he said repeatedly, referring to the RTE Investigates reporter.
‘No disrespect but I am here to celebrate with my family and if you want to carry on with your witch hunt, go ahead,’ he added.
