Donegal star Shane O’Donnell has been nominated for the PwC GAA/GPA Footballer of the Month for June.
O’Donnell was outstanding in June as Donegal defeated Cavan, Mayo, Louth and Monaghan.
He was particularly to the fore against the Farney men in the quarter-final as he posted three points in a man-of-the-match display.

Donegal are hoping for a double as Michael Murphy won the monthly award for May.
St Eunan’s clubman O’Donnell does face stiff competition from David Clifford (Kerry) and Jordan Morris (Meath).
