St Michael’s will be without a key player in 2024 as Hugh O’Donnell has moved to Australia.
O’Donnell has linked up with the East Celts club in Brisbane.
O’Donnell became a vital player for St Michael’s in recent seasons and delivered a number of strong displays from his right half-back berth in the Senior Championship.
He impressed enough to earn a call up to the Donegal senior panel from Paddy Carr and he played against Down in the McKenna Cup last season.
O’Donnell will now play his football in Brisbane alongside Mark Harley (Cloughaneely) and Eunan Doherty (Naomh Conaill), who have also both recently moved down under.
