O’DONNELL – The death has taken place in Áras Ghaoth Dobhair of Catherine (Kitty) O’Donnell, (née Ferry), Dunlewey and formerly of Shaskinbeg, Gweedore. Pre-deceased by her husband, Johnny Paddy, son Seán, daughter-in-law Nuala and son-in-law Jim Downey.

Sadly missed by her sons Cathal and Pádraig, daughters Roise Maire and Eibhlín, daughters-in-law Linda and Colette, son-in-law Johnny, seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and extended family.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam uasal.

Her remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home, Derrybeg, today, Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm. Removal afterwards to the family home in Dunlewey.

House private to family only.

Funeral Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey on Saturday morning at 11 am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Áras Ghaoth Dobhair. The Funeral Mass can be viewed on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director Facebook page.

Social distancing and wearing of face masks is required at the wake and funeral, in line with current regulations.
