O’DONNELL, Brendan – (Manor Cunningham, Co. Donegal and Lucan, Glenageary, Co. Dublin), 23rd January, 2023, peacefully after a long illness, he was surrounded by his devoted family in the kind and loving care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Wicklow. Beloved and cherished by his wife, Valerie; son Eoin, he will be profoundly missed; also lovingly remembered by his son, Brian; daughters Mary and Nuala; granddaughter, Petra; brother’s Eugene and Aidan, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; fondly remembered by former colleagues at the Department of Agriculture and by a wide circle of relatives, friends and neighbours.
In accordance with Brendan’s wishes, his body has been donated to medical science. Consequently there will be no funeral. An occasion to celebrate Brendan’s life will be held in the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney, Co. Dublin at 2 pm on Saturday, 28th January.
