O’BOYLE – The peaceful death has taken place on Thursday, 27th October 2022 at Letterkenny University Hospital of Andy O’Boyle, retired Garda Sergeant, An Garda Siochana, Clareville, High Road, Letterkenny, F92 F25R. Pre-deceased by his wife Margaret on 9th February 2020.
Deeply missed by his loving family, sons Joe (Fahan) and Sean (Naas); daughters Marie (Letterkenny), Rita Kenny (Donegal Town) and Lucie Donnelly (Dungannon); grandchildren Erin, Oisin, Ava, Maggie, Thomas, Einín, Tara, Eoghan and Leah; great grandchild Shea; brother Pat (Perth, Australia) and sisters Betty Moran (Ballinrobe, Mayo) and Cora Kenny (Ballinasloe, Co. Galway); sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Rest in Peace
Andy’s remains will repose at his late residence on Friday, 28th October from 5 pm until 10 pm and on Saturday, 29th October from 11 am until 10 pm, with family time please on the morning of the funeral. Funeral from there at 12.15 pm on Sunday, 30th October, going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs for 1 pm Requiem Mass, which can be viewed on https://www.facebook.com/irishmartyrs/. Interment afterwards to Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny. Rosary both evenings at 9 pm.

Dear Joe Sean Marie Rita and Lucy. My deepest condolences to you all on the death of your beloved dad. He was a true gentleman and have many fond memories of him going way way back. May his gentle soul now rest in peace reunited with your darling mum.
Andy was a close family member of my Mum and Dad here in Glasgow. Andy was a very special man and married to Margaret my mum’s lifelong friend. My condolences to all of the family at this terribly sad time.
