Daire Ó Baoill has been nominated for the GAA.ie Player of the Week for his performance on Saturday.
Ó Baoill starred in Donegal’s Allianz Football League Division Two win over Fermanagh and was named Man of the Match. The Gaoth Dobhair man delivered a dynamic display, thundering forward to score 2-3 for Jim McGuinness’ outfit.
A place in the Team of the Week for the Gaoth Dobhair man was justified and he is now up for the Player of the Week award along with Dublin’s Con O’Callaghan and Kerry’s David Clifford.
Cuala man O’Callaghan kicked seven points, including five from play, for Dessie Farrell’s team in their win over Roscommon while Clifford scored five points from play, including the winning point as Kerry beat Mayo.
Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page by voting on their story.
