A local nurse has spoken of her delight at becoming the first person in Donegal to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
Clinical nurse Lorraine Guthrie receive the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine today from her nursing colleague Virginia Murray.
The vaccine was the first to be administered in County Donegal and over the coming weeks the programme will be extended across the hospital and community services.

By the end of this week over 500 staff will be vaccinated at Letterkenny University Hospital.
