The number of patients on trolleys at Letterkenny University Hospital has doubled since yesterday.
Today, there are currently 32 patients on trolleys at LUH, compared to 16 patients awaiting beds yesterday.

Of the 32 patients, there are 24 in the emergency department and eight on wards elsewhere in the hospital.
490 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.
383 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 107 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
