Northern bank holiday commuters adding to heavy traffic in Letterkenny this evening

There’s more heavy traffic in and around Letterkenny this evening with many weekend visitors making their way home on what’s a Bank Holiday in Northern Ireland.

Once again, the worst affected areas are Ballyraine, Ramelton Road and Kiltoy with traffic extremely busy coming into the town from the Ramelton direction.

There are also queues of traffic on Gortlee hill and in parts of the town centre.

Motorists planning a journey through Letterkenny are advised to expect delays until well past tea-time.
