The festival kicks off at 1pm on Saturday, August 24, welcoming truck enthusiasts and families alike.

The afternoon will feature live performances by local artists, with Carragh Lynch taking the stage from 4-6pm, followed by the lively tunes of

The Good Old Boys with Anne Biddie from 6-8pm.

DJs Doc and Lee Duncan will keep the energy high throughout the day, ensuring there’s never a dull moment.

As the sun sets, prepare to be dazzled by a brilliant light display at 9pm, a visual feast that is not to be missed.

The excitement continues on Sunday with gates opening at 11am.

From 2-4pm, Paul Kelly and his band will entertain the crowd, setting the tone for a day.

One of the festival’s highlights is the presentation of prizes for the best trucks in various categories.

The prestigious George Tracey Memorial Trophy and the Decky Holian Perpetual Trophy will be awarded, recognising the hard work and dedication of the trucking community.

The awards ceremony will take place at 4pm, acknowledging the finest vehicles in categories such as Best Working Truck, Best Vintage, Best Graphics, and more.

The weekend will be topped off with a grand truck convoy through Letterkenny at 5pm, providing a fitting finale to this extraordinary event.

While North West Truck Fest is a celebration of all things trucking, it also carries a deeper purpose.

This year, the festival continues its tradition of supporting the Donegal Down Syndrome Association, an organisation that provides vital services and support to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families across Donegal.

Visitors to the festival can look forward to a variety of stalls, offering everything from delicious food to unique crafts, making it a fun-filled weekend for all ages.
