The North West Men’s basketball team played Waterford Vikings in An Danlann, ATU last Saturday. They were narrowly beaten by 1 point on a final score of 73-72.
They fought well in the last quarter to get back to within one point and had the ball in the last 19 seconds but unfortunately as with many other shots throughout the game, the ball just wouldn’t go into the basket.
Their next game is against Dublin Lions on 21st October and will be played in the Foyle Arena, Derry.
