By Aoife Doherty

Event organisers of Sea Sessions have announced that the event will not take place in 2025.

The popular Bundoran music festival, which usually takes place in late June, did not announce any dates or lineup this year which left many fans confused.

Organisers have taken to social media today and said “Sorry for having been so quiet on here. But we have some news: Sea Sessions is taking a break in 2025.”

The event has been running since 2008 and has since grown into one of the most popular festivals in Ireland. It has been host to many major acts such as Dermot Kennedy and Joel Corry.

This will come as a great disappointment to business owners and local people alike in Bundoran as the event attracted great tourism and revenue to the town.

However, organisers have reassured fans that they have “exciting plans” and will release further information in the near future.
