Gaeil Fhánada fell short in their bid to reach the Ulster Intermediate Championship semi-finals when they lost to an impressive Knockbride side at Páirc Uí Shiadhail.

Caoimhe Barrett scored three frees for Fanad who were 1-3 to 0-3 down at half-time.

Gaeil Fhánada battled hard throughout the match but Knockbride were the better team and advance through to the last four.
