THE helicopter that was scheduled to fly a Nurse and GP to Tory Island tomorrow (Thursday) has been grounded due to essential maintenance work.
The HSE has released a statement which details that there is currently no second helicopter available to do this run.
The HSE is putting interim measures in place.

A spokesperson for the HSE said, “The HSE wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused to patients/clients.
“It is envisaged that the helicopter will be operational again by the next scheduled flight on September 14.”
