NO arrests have been made as gardaí in Letterkenny continue to probe an investigation of an alleged assault on a woman in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Speers Lane was cordoned off as garda forensic teams carried out a full technical examination of the area following the alleged incident at 2am.
It is understood the woman was treated at Letterkenny University Hospital.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault of a female which occurred at Speer’s Lane, Letterkenny, on the 20th August 2017.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
