Singers and musicians will take to the stage next week in support of Donegal Multiple Sclerosis sufferer Tommy Halligan as he embarks on a very special fundraising drive. Tommy is hoping to build a small disabled flat for himself as his illness is impinging on his mobility. To help him on his fundraising journey, he has enlisted the help of several well known faces. On March 9 a host of musicians will gather in Biddy Friel’s Saloon, Drumoghill. Among them will be Donegal’s Ray Montanna who will entertain in his own unique country and western style.
The Letterkenny Senior Accordion Band will be on hand with a few tunes while Donna Harkin and Friends will also be centre stage with some traditional Irish music. Finger food will be provided and spot prizes will be up for grabs on what promises to be a cracking night’s entertainment in aid of a very worthy cause. Things run from 10pm to 1am and tickets are €10. They can be picked up from Tommy Halligan on 0852381507 or simply pay at the door.
