For six months, Eoin will be voyaging around America, Canada, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Portugal and Spain performing in plays, musical shows and his own solo cabaret show.

Eoin’s passion for performing began at a young age, but he only began taking acting seriously when he joined The Letterkenny Musical Society.

At the age of 15, Eoin auditioned for their production of ‘Oliver’.

Speaking to the Donegal News, Eoin said he auditioned, got the part and didn’t look back after that.

“That’s what drove my passion and started it all,” he said.

With The Letterkenny Musical Society, Eoin performed in Evita, Legally Blonde, The Wizard of Oz and Jesus Christ Superstar.

“I owe a lot to them, they really put me on the right path,” he said.

After secondary school, Eoin went to the North West Regional College in Derry to study Performing Arts.

Having successfully completed this course, he then went on to study a degree in Musical Theatre Performance in the University of Chichester.

With Eoin’s three years in Chichester coming to an end next week, he received the news that he was about to go on an excursion of a lifetime.

Delighted with the news, Eoin said he is really looking forward to working on the cruise ship.

Although Eoin has never been on a cruise ship before, he is looking forward to seeing the world.

“I am very excited about going out to sea for six months but I don’t know if I have sea sickness or not, we’ll find that out.

“I have met some of my fellow cast members already, we have a WhatsApp group and they are all lovely,” he said.

Although Eoin has a busy schedule ahead of him, he said it is amazing to be able to call this his job.
