A NEW superintendent has been appointed to Letterkenny Garda Station.
Siobhan Mollohan has been promoted to the position of superintendent with responsibility for the Donegal North Community Engagement Functional Area, Donegal Garda Division.
Letterkenny Garda Station has been without a superintendent for almost two years following the promotion of Goretti Sheridan to Chief Superintendent for Donegal.

Also in today’s announcement of appointments and allocations, Detective Superintendent Shane Cummins has been appointed to North Western Region HQ as Regional Detective Superintendent, North Western Region.
