The HSE has announced the successful appointment of a permanent GP for Lettermacaward.
Dr. Shahzad Ahmad will officially take up the role on Tuesday, July 15 and will be based at the recently refurbished Health Centre in Lettermacaward.
In a statement, the HSE wished him well in his new role and assured patients that there will be no changes to the current service arrangements.

The HSE also took the opportunity to thank Dr Charles McManus for all of his support for the patients of Lettermacaward for the past number of months.
