THE popular health food cafe Wholegreen in Letterkenny is set to get a new lease of life after it was announced that new owners have taken over the Church Lane business.
Last month the previous owner Anna Good announced her decision to take a step back after building the business for the last seven years.
She said the decision to sell up was not made lightly but that she and her family needed a break.
Customers will be happy to know that Wholegreen will not remain closed for long as new owners Michael and Mary Black have taken over and expect to be open again in four to five weeks.
Making an announcement on Friday the husband and wife team said they are really excited about the venture.
“Myself (Michael) and my wife (Mary) are really excited to be taking over a business that Anna and her team built up over the past seven years and became a huge part of so many of your daily lives.
“All going to plan we hope to be back opened in the next 4-5 weeks and are really looking forward to welcoming everyone (old & new) into Wholegreen. We will keep you all posted on the progress over the coming weeks,” they said.
Anna has also urged people to continue to shop local and support the new owners in this next chapter.
She wished them all the very best in the future and said: “I know it’ll mean my little business will go from strength to strength.
“I’ll miss you all and please shop local and support the new owner.”
