The new new multi-purpose outdoor play area at Scoil an Linbh Íosa, Carrigans
THE pupils of Scoil an Linbh Íosa in Carrigans are enjoying a new multi-purpose outdoor play area which has recently been installed in the school grounds.
The fabulous new outdoor play area was funded by the school’s very active Parents’ Association and provides a welcome new facility for the pupils to play in during the school day.
The play area consists of swings, slides, balance beams and a host of other fun activities for the pupils to enjoy.
Scoil an Linbh Íosa is a co-educational school just outside the village of Carrigans with a current enrolment of 87 pupils.
The school recently attained Active School Flag status to add to its Green School Flag status and the new outdoor play area further enhances the school’s reputation as an Active School.
