New MacCumhaills training pitch in works

Donegal County Council intend to lease a plot of land located in Stranorlar to the MacCumhaills GAA club.

The Twin Towns outfit intend to use the area, measuring just over 1.6 hectares, to develop a new training pitch to be used by their under age sides.

In the document released by the council to its members, it is explained that the lease will last for four years and nine months.

The agreement also contains a number of provisions including that if no development is carried out on the area, or that the land hasn’t been used for training within two years of the lease being granted, it will automatically be terminated.
