Enterprise Rent-A-Car has continued its growth programme in Ireland with the opening of a new branch in Letterkenny.
Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine and Donegal representative, Charlie McConalogue TD officially opened the branch, which adds to Enterprise Mobility’s growing presence in Ireland.
The new facility in Letterkenny will bring 10 jobs, while also providing opportunities within Enterprise Mobility’s prestigious Management Training Programme.
The new branch provides car rental and access to Enterprise’s Car Club, with two vehicles on site. This is a further expansion of Enterprise’s Car Club service, which was launched in Ireland in 2021. Car Club vehicles can be booked and accessed via an app making them available 24/7 to rent by the hour or the day.
Speaking at the event, Minister McConalogue said: “I am delighted to officially open the latest Enterprise branch here in Letterkenny. As a local Minister and TD, it is fantastic to see Enterprise expand their presence here in the border region. Their services will provide a crucial link to and from Donegal Airport in Carrickfinn, while also benefiting residents across the County and beyond.
It is also fantastic that Enterprise is continuing their commitment to more sustainable mobility, by providing two Car Club vehicles which, alongside public transport, play a vital part in creating a transport framework that caters to the people of Donegal and further afield.
I want to wish the entire team at Enterprise every success in the future.”
Brendan Grieve, Managing Director of Enterprise Rent-A-Car Ireland, said, “This is an exciting time for Enterprise Mobility in Ireland as we further advance our mobility offerings. Our focus remains steadfast on extending these services to rural areas, ensuring that convenient and dependable transport options are accessible to both local residents and visitors.
This new branch underscores our continuing dedication and long-term investment plans to the region. The addition of this branch, along with our recent openings in Mayo and Cavan, reaffirms our unwavering commitment to serving communities across the entirety of the island.”
Enterprise Mobility now has 31 branches in the Republic and more than 250 team members.
