New ‘Donegal Is Calling’ campaign launched

Donegal County Council today launched its ‘Donegal Is Calling’ campaign which aims to promote the county as the perfect remote working location.

As part of the campaign the Council has released a video filmed at various locations around the county showcasing that Donegal offers the perfect combination of connected business opportunities with a lifestyle that encompasses the beautiful, rugged scenery it’s famous for.

Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr Liam Blaney said: “Our relocation marketing campaign is a timely reminder of the opportunities Donegal presents to progress your career across a range of industries, while enjoying a fantastic quality of life and unrivaled scenery. If you are thinking of a change in location, we would actively encourage people to move to Donegal.”

Those who are enjoying this way of life feature throughout the video campaign including Donegal Ladies’ Gaelic Football captain and occupational physiotherapist Niamh McLaughlin, who left Dublin for Donegal during the pandemic to be closer to what matters most: work, sport, and her friends.

Speaking about her move Niamh said: “Donegal is becoming so diverse and is always developing in all aspects of study, culture, sports, the outdoors, food and socialising. It offers everything that a bigger city or country can but with the beauty of its views, outdoors, and its active, healthy lifestyle.”
