The Donegal IFA annual general meeting will be held in the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny on Tuesday, Feburary 7 at 8pm.
The 2023 Donegal IFA AGM will be marked with significance as it marks the end of Brendan McLaughlin’s term as County Chairman.
Brendan has been Chairman since 2019 and in that short time has steered Donegal IFA successfully through the unforeseen Covid-19 pandemic, which brought about sudden changes to the organisation in day to day operations, as well as challenges facing farmers impacted as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine through soaring input costs and uncertainty.
A new County Chairperson will be elected on the night, as well as Vice Chairperson and Assistant Secretary.
In addition, elections will take place for two Commodity Committee positions also, totalling 5 elections on the night.
IFA President Tim Cullinan will be present on the night for the AGM to give an update on IFA affairs and developments on various current issues.
