SOLICITOR Éiteáin Cunningham has been appointed as the new district judge for Letterkenny.
Ms Cunningham has been appointed to the role by President of Ireland Michael D Higgins.
She takes over the post in District 1 (Donegal) following the departure of Judge Raymond Finnegan. He was reassigned to District 5 (Cavan/Monaghan) in November after only a few months in Donegal.

Ms Armstrong is currently employed as a solicitor with Sligo-based firm Hegarty and Armstrong.
