National Ambulance Service confirm review to take place following Carndonagh collision

The National Ambulance Service (NAS) has confirmed that a review of a collision involving one of their emergency ambulances is to be carried out.

“A review of incident will be carried out and managed in line with established protocols,” a spokesperson for NAS told the Donegal News.

On Tuesday gardaí and emergency services responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision involving an emergency ambulance.

The serious collision took place at approximately 10:10am on December 2, in the Carndonagh area.

Two female paramedics, aged in their 20s and 40s, were conveyed to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
