Naomh Conaill ran out worthy winners with a comprehensive win over Gaoth Dobhair in the Division 1 final in O’Donnell Park.
A tense opening with just a point in it coming towards the break, Brendan McDyer’s lob found the net and points from Finnbarr Roarty and a Dermot Molloy free had them 1-6 to 0-3 and well in the ascendancy.
Odhran Doherty hit a second goal via a rebound and while Adam Mac Íomhair punched in for a goal at the other end, Charles McGuinness kept the scoreboard ticking over from frees as the Naomh Conaill won well.
