Micheál Roarty got Gaoth Dobhair’s first point but Naomh Conaill extended their lead through Jeaic MacCeallabhuí, Ciaran Thompson (2) and Ultan Doherty for an 0-9 to 0-1 lead.

Dáire Ó Baoill got the final score of the half as Gaoth Dobhair had a mountain to climb.

And Carroll and Ethan Harkin frees were cancelled out by Ciaran Thompson and Charlie McGuinness scores from play.

O’Malley and MacCeallabhuí added to the score before a third Carroll free.

But Charlie McGuinness palmed in from an Ethan O’Donnell pass and added another point before Keelan McGill came on to point.

Fearghal Delaney scored a goal a minute after coming on but it was already game over as Ciarán Gillespie, Carroll and Neasán Mac Giolla Bhríde added points while Eunan Doherty was the tenth different point scorer for the Glenties men.
