Naomh Conaill have confirmed that they will return to club activities after the Covid-19 test of one of their underage players came back negative.
It’s understood that the test was required after a family member of the young player tested positive.
The Naomh Conaill club shut down all activities on Tuesday as they awaited the result of the test, but all their teams can now resume training and playing games.
In a statement on Twitter the club said:
“The Naomh Conaill club have been informed that the COVID-19 test result have returned a negative outcome.
“The club will be returning to play forthwith in full compliance with the GAA & HSE guidelines.”
Naomh Conaill will begin the defence of their Donegal Senior Championship title against Milford this Saturday, while their ladies team travel to Glenfin on Sunday.
