Naomh Conaill finish strong to beat MacCumhaill’s well

Sean MacCumhaill’s 0-5 Naomh Conaill 2-13

Naomh Conaill got back on track in the championship with a win over Sean MacCumhaill’s in MacCumhaill Park.

The Glenties men had an 0-7 to 0-3 lead at the break through six different scorers but it was by no means game over at this point.

It was still a four point game with ten minutes to go but a couple points from sub Dermot Molloy and a 56th minute goal from Kevin McGettigan put them ten ahead.

Another three pointer in added time from Neil Francis Boyle put some gloss on the score line against a badly outgunned MacCumhaill’s without key men Oisin Gallen, Joel Bradley Walsh, Marty O’Reilly and Sean Martin.
