Naomh Conaill showed huge character in extra-time to defeat Four Masters this afternoon and reach the County Final.
Four Masters were 0-4 to 0-1 ahead after 11 minutes.
However, Naomh Conaill came back well with Max Campbell and Kieran Gallagher to the fore.
A Shea Malone two-pointer gave Four Masters a slender 0-7 to 0-6 lead at half-time.
Naomh Conaill moved four ahead at the start of the second half but scores from Alex McCalmont and Turlough Carr had the sides level after 47 minutes.
It was tit-for-tat after that and Shea Malone edged Naomh Conaill in front only for Kevin Muldoon to send over a last-gasp equaliser.
Four Masters scored the first three points in extra-time but Naomh Conaill hit back with a goal from Kevin McGettigan and a free from Brendan McDyer.
Naomh Conaill pushed clear in the second half of extra-time with McDyer, Malone and Kieran Gallagher scoring.
Callum McCrea reduced the deficit to three but another score from Malone made sure of the win for Martin Regan’s men and they will face Gaoth Dobhair in the final.
