MICHAEL Murphy didn’t have much time for watching detailed analysis of Donegal’s preliminary round win over Antrim or digesting the mounds of negativity that was written about the forgettable clash in Ballybofey last month.
After all, the big Glenswilly man started his second year exams in DCU the following day and also had the small matter of a club championship first round game to get ready for, as well as a leg injury, that ultimately resulted in a couple of days in hospital, nagging at him.
He’s heard the stories and got the feedback, but he shrugs the broad shoulders on which so much of Donegal’s hope is placed when it’s put to him that Donegal came in for a lot of disapproving comments in the aftermath of their win over Liam Bradley’s outfit.
