Donegal 1-9 Armagh 0-11

Armagh moved in front as the half progressed but a great goal from substitute Michael Murphy left Donegal in front by a point at half-time.

Ciaran Thompson and Rian O’Neill traded points in the seond period, before Michael Langan put Donegal two ahead in the 51st minute.

It was nip-and-tuck, but Murphy landed a super brace to leave Donegal in charge on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-8 in the 63rd minute.

Rian O’Neill replied with two points for the Orchard county and Ethan Rafferty blazed a free over the bar, but Donegal held on for a vital win.
