Not once did Michael Murphy contemplate that he might be faced with no more football for the remainder of the 2020 season.
Even when our Covid-19 fears reached their apex, the Donegal skipper didn’t down tools. Physically and mentally, he continued to prime himself towards a restart.
That retention of hope got its reward last week with the GAA announcing its roadmap to a return to play. It’s good news but there are a number of big questions still to be answered.
