Donegal teenage music sensation Muireann Bradley is to appear in three concerts in her home county this summer.
The Ballybofey musician has confirmed three dates in July as part of the Earagail Arts Festival.
The finger-picking guitarist and singer rose to fame following her show-stopping appearance on Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny on New Year’s Eve.
Now fans will get a chance to catch her live when she plays venues in Culdaff, Letterkenny and Gaoth Dobhair.
Tickets are on sale now via www.eaf.ie.
Muireann released her debut album ‘On I Kept These Old Blues’ to wide acclaim in December.
The 17-year-old first came to international attention when a performance of Blind Blake’s Police Dog Blues she posted on YouTube went viral and caught the eye of Josh Rosenthal (Tompkins Square Records, San Francisco) who suggested she record an album.
The songs and instrumentals, which would make up her debut album, were all recorded live in the studio in one or two takes to make the process as similar as possible to that of the original classic country blues artists.
As the extraordinary talent’s star continues to rise, this is a fantastic opportunity to see Muireann Bradley in her native Donegal in some of the county’s most popular music venues this summer.
She will appear at McGrory’s in Culdaff on Saturday, July 13 (8pm); An Grianán Theatre in Letterkenny on Tuesday, July 16 (8pm) and Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair on Wednesday, July 24 (8pm).
